After two consecutive home wins, the Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of some off-court drama. Namely, Joel Embiid posted on Instagram, after the fans booed him in the win against the Bulls.
In particular, he wrote “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” #TheProcess.”.
Embiid’s former teammate, Jimmy Butler, took the liberty of replying on Instagram with: “I know a place where villains are welcome.” And Embiid replied “Damn right my brother.”
Could this mean that Embiid is not seeing his future in Philadelphia? or is it just a banter between two ex-teammates?
