After Bradley Beal’s snub from the All-Star Game, his agent Mark Bartelstein ripped the Eastern Conference coaches for not selecting him.

In particular, Bartelstein said that the coaches held against his client due to the fact that he stayed in Washington last summer and signed a contract extension.

“You need to jump ship and go join a championship contender so you can be an all-star.’ And that to me, is a terrible message. Loyalty is something that should matter, if you’re performing at a really high level. Which this guy is doing.”

Beal is averaging 28.7 points, 6.4 assists and 4.5 rebounds for the Washington Wizards this season. The Wizards have a 16-31 record, being 11th in the East.
