Following the Detroit Pistons-Atlanta Hawks game on Saturday night, combo guard Derrick Rose discussed lots of topics, including the Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony and his NBA comeback:

“Melo has been playing great I think has been a plus and it is great to see him out there. I don’t get a chance to talk to him, but he is from Baltimore and he is a tough guy. He knows this is a huge opportunity not only for him but for anybody that didn’t the opportunity and the ones trying to get back in the league. He is an example of if you keep working on your game and you get a crack and once you get that crack you have to run with that opportunity,” Rose said, per Landon Buford of Heavy.com.

So far this season, Anthony is averaging 16.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, while shooting at 43.9% from the floor.
