The head coach of the LA Lakers, Frank Vogel, said he is very anxious regarding the injury of the team’s superstar Anthony Davis.

Davis has missed the last four games of the Lakers, due to a gluteus maximus contusion, and is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets.

“On a 1-10 (scale)? Twenty? Thirty? Forty? A hundred? Two-hundred? I’m very anxious, but also having the mindset to be very wise and patient and intelligent about an injury to a very important player that we’re not going to rush back.

We’re going to be conservative and make sure he’s right before we return him to play, have a marathon mindset to the season, as we would with all of our players, but in particular someone of his caliber,” Vogel told reporters per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Davis has been averaging 27.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 blocks per game this season, while the Lakers are on top of the West, at 33-8.
