Brooklyn Nets center DeAndre Jordan will remain out of action for some time, due to a finger injury.

Jordan dislocated the middle finger on his right hand in Wednesday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Brooklyn announced on Friday, though, that Jordan won’t require surgery and will be re-evaluated next week.

Jordan is averaging 8.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists this season, while the Nets are eighth in the East, with an 18-22 record.
