Atlanta Hawks forward Chandler Parsons suffered a concussion and whiplash after he was involved in a car accident after practice on Jan. 15.

Parsons will enter the league’s concussion protocol and has already been ruled out for the team’s trip to San Antonio on Jan. 17.

Parsons is in his first and likely last season with the Hawks, as he has only played in five games this season.

He had his best NBA season with the Houston Rockets in 2013-2014 where he averaged 16.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, but a knee injury has since ravaged his career.
