Former NBA player Chandler Parsons has weighed in on the Los Angeles Lakers’ struggles against the Denver Nuggets, asserting that no coach could lead the Purple and Gold to victory against the defending champions.

Parsons emphasized the challenges faced by Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, suggesting that the team’s shortcomings stem from their roster limitations rather than coaching deficiencies.

“Find me anybody in the world that can coach this Lakers team to victory against this Denver Nuggets team…There’s no coach that can coach that to beat that team,” Parsons remarked during a segment on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back.

Despite the Lakers’ star-studded lineup featuring the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they have found themselves outmatched by the cohesive and resilient Nuggets.

Led by the dynamic duo of Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic, along with strong contributions from Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., the Nuggets have consistently outplayed the Lakers in their first-round series.

Despite valiant efforts from James and Davis in Game 3, the Lakers have been unable to overcome the depth and cohesion of the Nuggets, falling behind 0-3 in the series.

The Lakers’ struggles beyond the arc and lack of support from role players have further compounded their challenges against the Nuggets.

As the Lakers face the daunting task of avoiding elimination in Game 4, the focus remains on their ability to regroup and adjust to the Nuggets’ formidable presence on the court.
