In a recent episode of Run It Back on FanDuel TV, former NBA player Chandler Parsons stirred up controversy with his rankings of all-time greats. Parsons declared that he would rank Kevin Durant above Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

“I love Kobe, God rest his soul, but he’s not top-3 (all-time) in most people’s eyes,” Parsons stated. He went on to add, “I would rank Kevin Durant above Kobe.” The comment quickly sparked debate among the panel.

Co-host Lou Williams, a three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year and former teammate of Bryant, immediately voiced his disagreement. “I ain’t rolling, Chandler,” Williams said, rejecting Parsons’ stance.

Bryant, often regarded as one of the most iconic players in basketball history, won five titles with the Lakers and was a two-time NBA Finals MVP. Known for his “Mamba Mentality,” Bryant’s impact transcended the court, solidifying his status as a global icon.

Durant, on the other hand, is widely praised for his scoring prowess and efficiency. Durant is a two-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, and a four-time scoring champion. His unique ability to score from all areas of the court has led many to consider him one of the most gifted offensive players in history.
