Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was tremendous on both ends and led his team past the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day (115-96).

In an offensive showdown, where the Sixers set multiple records, Embiid posted an impressive double-double (31 points, 11 rebounds), while he also limited Giannis Antetokounmpo to just 18 points (8/27 shooting).

Speaking to reporters after the game, Embiid made it clear he has his sights set on winning the Defensive Player of the Year award.

“I wanna be Defensive Player of the Year and I feel like tonight showed it,” the superstar of the Sixers stated.

Philadelphia improved to 23-10 and extended its winning streak to three games, whereas Milwaukee is still on top of the NBA, at 27-5.
