Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic talked about his team’s performance during his absence as well as Kristaps Porzingis.
“He’s a great player,” Doncic said of Porzingis, per Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News. “He’s getting more and more comfortable. I’m happy for him. We’re going to get better and better.”
The Slovenian guard/forward also referred to the Mavericks’ performance during his absence, with Dallas having a 2-2 record.
“They did a great job without me. Like I always say, we have some great players on the team that people don’t talk a lot about. [The fans] just saw how they play.”
Doncic is dealing with an ankle injury (sprained ankle) and has been sidelined since December 14. He returned to practice on Tuesday and may play against the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow (26/12).
