Lithuania veterans Rimantas Kaukenas and Ksistof Lavrinovic are already doubts for next summer’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Kaukenas has recently been sidelined with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament on his left knee.
Unfortunately, the troubles have worsened as fellow veteran Lavrinovic is due to have a back operation in Italy that will keep the big man out indefinitely.
Lithuania finished fifth at Eurobasket 2011, they were knocked out in the quarter-finals by fellow Olympic Qualifying Tournament participants, FYR of Macedonia.
