Lukas Lekavicius had tied the game in regulation (69-69) to force an overtime, however James scored 10 points in the last 63 seconds of the extra period and led the Russians past the Lithuanians.
CSKA Moscow improved to 8-4, whereas Zalgiris Kaunas dropped to 3-9, suffering its sixth straight loss.
