Mike James returned to action after an one-game absence and led CSKA Moscow past Zalgiris Kaunas at the “Zalgirio Arena”.
James finished the game with 27 points, on 8/11 shooting and 5/6 from beyond the arc, five assists and a PIR of 32.
The Lithuanians came back from a double-digit deficit (78-79, with 69 seconds to go), but James scored the last eight points of the game and sealed the deal for the Muscovites.
CSKA Moscow now is at 6-3 in the standings, after earning its fourth straight victory. For its part, Zalgiris dropped to 5-4, as they lost their third straight game.
