Mateusz Ponitka will be sidelined for the next one to two weeks due to injury, as Zenit Saint Petersburg announced on Tuesday (19/11).

Ponitka is dealing with a muscle injury and will miss this week’s EuroLeague games against Valencia and Baskonia on the road.

It is unclear if Ponitka will return for Round 11, when Zenit hosts Real Madrid in St Petersburg for the first time ever.

Ponitka has been averaging 10.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and a PIR of 13.6 in the EuroLeague so far. Zenit currently has a 2-6 record.
