Mateusz Ponitka, who has participated in only four official games for Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, is facing an extended period on the sidelines.

Following his absence in the EuroLeague double week, the Polish forward will be out of action for approximately three weeks due to a shoulder injury, as reported by Bojan Brezovac from Mozzart Sport.

Additional tests were conducted, leading to the decision that it’s in Ponitka’s best interest to allow his shoulder to fully heal and the pain to subside.

However, there is potential for a shorter absence if the player demonstrates improvement in the next 10 days.

Ponitka initially suffered the shoulder injury during a friendly game against Fuenlabrada in early September.

Despite attempting to play through it, the severity of the pain eventually led to his sidelining.
