The Brooklyn Nets are signing free agent guard Iman Shumpert, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Shumpert will take a spot on their roster that has been open due to Wilson Chandler’s 25 game suspension.

Shumpert played for the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets last season, where he averaged 7.5 points per game between the two teams.

The news of Shumpert’s signing also comes after the Nets now fear that Caris LeVert has ligament damage to his right thumb.

He is going to see specialists for further evaluation.
