Israeli ginats Maccabi Tel Aviv are reportedly getting closer to adding one more point guard to the roster. American point guard Marcus Williams could become the latest signing for the Yellows.
Williams (25, 191) spent his first season in Europe with Enisey Krasnoyarsk. Before moving to Europe Williams played in NBA for four years (New Jersey Nets 2006-2008, Golden State Warriors 2008-2009, Memphis Grizzlies 2009-2010).
Marcus Williams averaged 15.3 points, 6.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game in Russian league last season.
