The leader of Baskonia, Tornike Shengelia, was tremendous once again and was named the MVP of EuroLeague Round 6.

With his team needing to protect its home floor, Shengelia stepped up once again to lead a 93-60 blowout win over Bayern Munich on Friday.

Shengelia’s performance index rating of 28, the highest among players on winning teams in Round 6, earned him his second MVP of the Round honor in as many weeks.

The Baskonia forward scored 13 of his team-high 19 points in the first quarter. He made 4 of 8 two-pointers, 2 of 2 triples and all 5 of his free throws. Shengelia also collected 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in the winning effort.
