Baskonia announced that the club’s leader, Tornike Shengelia, will be sidelined for the next two or three months, due to a knee injury.
After undergoing medical evaluation, the Georgian power forward should remain out of action until April or May, as he was diagnosed with distension in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee.
Shengelia has been averaging 12.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and two assists in EuroLeague this season.
