Miami Heat will attempt to agree on a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder and acquire Chris Paul, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The two teams were in talks upon the arrival of Paul to Oklahoma City during the offseason, yet they could not reach an agreement.
The Heat will wait to see how the start of the season plays out and then they will start negotiating with the Thunder.
Paul has three years and $124 million left on his current contract.
