The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Miami Heat 124-112 to obtain their third straight win on Sunday night.

Despite a slow start, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 29 points, Jalen Williams scored 19, while Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchel added 16 for the Thunder.

On the other hand, Andrew Wiggins scored 23 points, including seven three-pointers, to lead the Heat, while Tyler Herro scored 19, and Pelle Larsson scored 16.

The reigning MVP missed his first five shots of the game, but went 10 for 14 from the field to earn his 20-point mark for the 110th consecutive game.

Gilgeous-Alexander became a significant part of their 15-0 run, which gave the Thunder a 13-point lead with about four minutes remaining in the third.

Both teams came in among the top four in the NBA in defensive rating, while Oklahoma and Miami both shot better than 50%.

Oklahoma scored 39 points off 23 Heat turnovers.

Miami forced five Oklahoma City turnovers in the opening quarter, but the Thunder had just eight turnovers the rest of the way.

The Heat led by as many as nine in the first quarter, but the Thunder used a 14-2 run late in the quarter to regain the lead.

Norman Powell missed the game for the Heat with lower back soreness, while Jaylin Williams returned with nine points after not playing since December 13 due to heel bursitis.
