Ex-NBA guard Dwyane Wade, who spent the majority of his 16-year career playing for the Miami Heat, thinks one of Los Angeles teams, Lakers or Clippers, will win the 2020 NBA championship:

“I think L.A. sports is in an amazing place right now with football, basketball, baseball and even high school sports, and I look forward to being a fan and rooting all these teams on. Obviously with LeBron being on the Lakers, I have a dog in the fight, but you have the Lakers and Clippers, two of the best teams in the league and the hottest tickets in town.

People want to go watch both of these teams because they’re both in the running to come out of the West and play in the Finals. They could play each other in the Western Conference finals, which would be great. Golden State still has the heart of a champion with everyone they have coming back, but I think L.A. is going to win the championship,” Wade said, per Los Angeles Times.

This past season, the 37-year-old averaged 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, while shooting at 43.3 percent from the floor and 33.0 percent from three in 26.2 minutes of action.
