Ricky Rubio was tremendous (25 points) and led Spain past Argentina in a Basketball World Cup preparation game (84-76).

The Spanish guard scored 17 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, while he dished eight assists. On the other hand, Luis Scola had 24 points and nine rebounds for the losing squad.

Spain closed the first half in front by five (42-37), but the Argentinians reacted and went on a 15-21 run to take the lead at the end of the third quarter (57-58).

Yet, Rubio (who posted a career-high in points with Spain) took over in the final 10 minutes and helped Spain outscore Argentina 27-18 and earn the victory.
