Ricky Rubio is back on screen as he competes in Spain.
After 20 years, the former NBA All-Rookie First Team member returned to Granada, where he made his professional debut in the ACB.
Rubio led Joventut Badalona to a road victory against Coviran Granada, 87-75, as he dropped 18 points, four assists, and three steals.
Aside from winning the game, he was also honored and celebrated by the fans upon his return after a long absence.
“It’s been 20 years, even though it feels like yesterday. A lot has happened, but I can still say I enjoy playing basketball,” the 34-year-old point guard said.
Joventut Badalona also has huge contributors from their frontcourt duo, with Birgander tallying 16 points and 8 boards, and Tomic with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
On the other side, Granada star Bozic contributed 22 points and 8 rebounds, but still fell short.
