Giannis Athinaiou got injured on Sunday’s game between Greece and Serbia and will miss the 2019 Basketball World Cup.
The Greek guard suffered an ACL injury and will be sidelined for several months. He is also expected to miss most part of the 2019/20 season.
Athinaiou signed with Panathinaikos a week ago.
