The duo of Vincent Poirier (16 points) and Rudy Gobert (14 points) was impressive and led France past Brazil (86-72).

The two big men combined for 30 points and helped France come back from a nine-point deficit and earn the victory.

Brazil was in control in the first half (14-23, 38-43), but France took over in the last 20 minutes and outscored their opponents 48-29 to win the game.

Aside from Poirier and Gobert, Nando De Colo played very well for the winners, with 10 points and 10 assists. Leandro Barbosa was the best player of the losing squad, with 17 points.
