It was a close game for three quarters (45-51, 69-68, 74-74), yet Brazil went on a 3-11 run and won the match.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Vitor Benite having a team-high 15 points.

On the other hand, Nicolas Laprovittola posted a game-high 18 points for the losing squad, with Luis Scola and Gabriel Deck adding 17 points apiece.
