Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul strengthened its backcourt by signing one of the premier guards in Europe, Nando De Colo, on a multiyear deal.

De Colo (1.96 meters, 32 years old) has been among the most dominant players in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague over the past five seasons, which he played with CSKA Moscow. De Colo led CSKA to EuroLeague titles in 2016 and 2019, reached the Final Four five times and earned All-EuroLeague team honors in each those five seasons – first team in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and second in 2015 and 2019.

In the 2015-16 season, he was the EuroLeague MVP, the Final Four MVP and the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy winner. De Colo has been the EuroLeague MVP of the month three times and his 15 MVP of the round honors are the competition record.

Over the last five seasons, De Colo ranks first in the EuroLeague in accumulated performance index rating (2,867), points scored (2,496), fouls drawn (755) and free throws made (616). De Colo is also the EuroLeague’s all-time leader in free throw shooting percentage at 93.8%.
