According to Shams Chararnia of The Athletic, the Dallas Mavericks plan to offer Kristaps Porzingis a full five-year, $158 million maximum deal. Porzingis will be a restricted free agent this summer and the Mavs can match any offer another team makes to him.

Porzingis suffered a season-ending injury while playing against the Milwaukee Bucks when landing awkwardly on the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo foot after a dunk back in February 2018.
