German NBA star, Dirk Nowitzki set an unbelievable record as he scored 29 points in the last quarter, leading Dallas Mavericks to a win over Utah Jazz by 96-85.
The previous club record belonged to Mark Aguirre who scored 24 points in a quarter back in 1984, 25 whole years ago. Nowitzki had a total of 40 points (12/22 GF), 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocks and 2 steals.
