In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, Daniel Hackett referred to his participation with Italy in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
Here is what the Italian guard said, per FIBA:
“My next goal is to have a great summer with the national team. We have the talent, the maturity and the experience to play a good tournament.
We only have to work with humility and without making public promises. At the World Cup, there are not only medals at stake, but also a pass to the Olympic Games Qualifying Rounds.”
