Morris AlmondReal Madrid completed the signing of a 25-year-old American guard Morris Almond as the club prepares for ACB play-off battles. Before joining Real Almond played for Maine Red Claws in the NBDL. He averaged 26.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this season in NBDL and that certainly helped him to catch and interest of the Spanish giants. Almond is also an NBDL scoring record holder with 53 points.

Utah Jazz drafted Morris Almond 25th overall in 2007 NBA Draft. Though in his first NBA season he played only nine games and averaged just 1.4 points per game. His second season wasn’t too impressive either – 25 games and 3.7 points per game. His scoring record in NBA is 12 points.

Almond signed the contract until the end of 2011-2012 season.
