Cajasol Seville released today american center Josh Asselin (2'11, 1978). He was supposed to be the starting power-forward of the team, but after some very bad games, Maurice Ager took his place in the roster. Still he could have continued in the team under a spanish citizenship he didn't manage to get.
The player's agents were unable to get his promised spanish passport. They promised it was possible several months ago, when Cajasol signed the player with that condition. But there were always some problems with that matter. There was still a last chance to stay in the team if he had managed to get the spanish citizenship, but he didn't.
Now he will have to get another contrat in a different team, but with his great work ethic it's sure he will do it.
