Panathinaikos power forward/center James Gist may miss the first two games against Real Madrid in the EuroLeague playoffs, due to injury.
“James Gist may not play. That’s a big miss for us. So the other guys need to step up. He hasn’t touched the basketball. He hasn’t played a second since he hurt his knee.
We’re going to miss him certainly but injuries are part of the game. They’ve got Llull probably out,” the head coach of Panathinaikos Rick Pitino said.
Gist suffered a bone bruise on Saturday (13/04) and his participation in Games 1 and 2 will be a game-time decision.
