At 35, Marcus Brown (Higher Vision Sports) the Euroleague's all time leading scorer has been around a long time and like his days of old Brown turned in a performance last night that rivaled many of his best individual performances from his younger years when he scored 37 points on 7 for 11 three point shooting in a victory against Ukrainian club Azovmash in the new VTB United League.
Brown also collected 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals in nearly 35 minutes of play. Zalgiris at the moment maintains the second place in their group next to CSKA Moscow, for now. Brown is currently 2nd in scoring in the VTB and ranks within the Top25 in scoring in the Euroleague, not bad for a player who has had to overcome two career threatening injuries in his career and one who will turn 36 before the season ends.
