In an interview with the Sacramento Kings, Nemanja Bjelica referred to his feelings of playing for the national team of Serbia.

“When you play for your national team it’s something really special. You can’t compare it with the NBA or with the EuroLeague.

It’s the same sport but you take a lot of pride when you represent your country,” the versatile forward said.

After a three-year absence, Bjelica is expected to play for Serbia in the 2019 World Cup.

Bjelica last played for the national team in a top competition in the 2015 EuroBasket, while he missed the 2016 Olympics and the 2017 EuroBasket, due to injuries.
