The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors at home and earned their ninth straight win in the league (111-105).

In a close game with nine ties, the defending champions came back from a double-digit deficit in the third quarter, yet the Spurs stepped up and sealed the deal, claiming their 11th straight win at home.

Four players scored in double figures for the winners, as DeMar DeRozan led the way for the winners with 26 points and nine rebounds.

Stephen Curry had 25 points for the losing squad, with Kevin Durant posting 24 and Klay Thompson 14.

San Antonio improved to 42-29 and moved to the fifth place in the West, whereas Golden State dropped to 47-22 and is now tied with the Denver Nuggets on top of standings.
