USA Basketball announced today that Team USA will face Spain in preparation game ahead of the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

The game will be played at the Honda Center in California on Friday, August 16, while the World Cup will take place in China two weeks later (August 31 – September 15).

USA Basketball also announced the coaching staff and the roster, which includes most of the NBA superstars.

Gregg Popovich will be the team’s head coach and will be assisted by NBA head coaches Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors), Nate McMillan (Indiana Pacers) and Villanova University head coach Jay Wright.
