Cote d’Ivoire crushed Mali at home (69-49) and locked down their spot for the Basketball World Cup, joining Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia and Angola.

The hosts led from start to finish (26-15, 44-26) and cruised to an easy win at home. Cote d’Ivoire had to win by at least 13 points to advance to the World Cup.

Eventually, they won by 20 and will now play in the World Cup for the fourth time in their history.
