Barcelona guard Adam Hanga discussed with TalkBasket.net about the team’s triumph over Olympiacos (55-76) and the home-court advantage.

Here is what Hanga said:

On the victory against the “Reds” on Thursday (31/01): “We started the game really well. We set the tone from the beginning and we had control for almost the whole game, apart from 5-6 minutes in the second quarter.

We played great defence, that was the key tonight, we knew we had to do this to win this game.”

On whether this win can help the Catalans on their battle for the home-court advantage: “Every victory can help us, we can’t think about the home-court advantage yet. We have to focus on the next opponent and we will see at the end where we will end up.

Olympiacos is a direct opponent, we are tied in the standings (12-9), we knew we had to win here and we also have the tie breaker. But, there are still a lot of games left, things can change in the next one or two weeks.”

On his individual performance: “I try to help my team in the best way possible. I was active tonight, I think I did a good job. But, I always think about the team’s performance and not my individual one.”
