Following the victory of CSKA Moscow over Bayern Munich (77-70), Dimitris Itoudis praised Alec Peters and Joel Bolomboy.

Here is what the head coach of the Muscovites told the media in the post-game press conference:

On the two players’ transition to the European basketball: “They are rookies in European basketball. That transition is not easy.

They didn’t play in the NBA and came here after 10 years as veterans. We knew that when we signed them in summer.”

On whether they have adjusted well so far: “It’s a difficult process, we knew we were going to go through that. Those guys came from a different world. They have to make a transition.

They deserve credit for mentally preparing themselves for the moment to grab any opportunity. And especially for Joel is not that easy playing in the ‘4’ position, with all of these combinations of plays.”
