Panathinaikos rallied past Bayern Munich at home (77-67) and remained alive in the play-off race.

The “Greens” never trailed in the game and cruised to an easy victory, as the Germans played mediocre offensively and missed many open shots.

A 16-2 run in the first half helped the hosts earn a double-digit lead (26-13, 43-32) and seal the deal, as the visitors failed to cut the deficit to less than six points.

Ioannis Papapetrou led the winners, with 18 points and eight rebounds, as Nick Calathes made another double-double (14 points and 11 assists).

James Gist (13 points), Matt Lojeski (11) and DeShaun Thomas (10) also scored in double figures for the six-time EuroLeague champions. Only Derrick Williams stood out for the losing squad, with 21 points.

Both teams now have identical records (8-9).
