Baskonia endured the come-back of Khimki and claimed a crucial win on the road over the Russians (77-85).

The Basques played very well on both ends of the floor (19-27, 21-36) and ended the first half in front by seven (36-43).

In the second half, an unusual incident stopped the game, as Tornike Shengelia shattered the glass of the backboard.

When the game resumed, the Russians were unstoppable and outscored their opponents 22-14 to take the lead (58-57).

In the fourth quarter, though, it was all about Baskonia. The visitors played great defence and made some big shots to regain their advantage and cruise to a big win on the road (77-85).

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, as Shavon Shields had 15 points (on 5/5 shooting).

Jordan Mickey (19 points) and Stefan Markovic (14 points) were the best players of the losing squad.

Baskonia improved to 7-8, whereas Khimki dropped to 5-10.
