ImageThe sixth round of ACB was played this weekend: A great game, plenty of intensity and good plays was played in Vitoria, between tow forces TAU and Real Madrid. There was also time for overtimes, as it happened in Zaragoza, or great debuts, like the one played by Nikoloz Tskitishvili, in his first game with Fuenlabrada.

The best game of the round faced Tau Vitoria against Real Madrid in Vitoria. It was a hard game, which even finished with a big fight between the players, and that only showed the tension on the court. Igor Rakocevic was the main scorer in the team of Ivanovic, well helped by a fantastic Prigioni, with fifteen points, and an "every day more important" Mirza Teletovic, who scored three consecutive three-pointers in last two minutes to give the win to Tau. In Real Madrid, as always, Reyes and Bullock were the most important players, while some others like Hervelle, Papadopoulos and Sánchez still seem lost.

Ricoh Manresa gave the surprise of the weekend, when the beat Pamesa on the road, a result which ended with coach Katsikaris and manager Rogers fired, both of them. Great game by Josh Asselin, Montáñez and Javi Rodríguez. Bulfoni is recovering is skills to score (ten points in twelve minutes). Twenty-three points by Shammond Williams weren't enough to give the win to his team.

In Zaragoza, overtime to decide the winner. Estudiantes made a great comeback which took the game to extra time, but in the end it was Cai who succeed. Quinteros and Larry Lewis combined to get forty-nine points and win a game against a direct rival.

David Andersen and Juan Carlos Navarro, main stars in Barcelona, played a very good game, scoring more than twenty points each one to beat a very hard Fuenlabrada, which fight for the win until the end. It was the first game for "Skita", and he managed to score twenty-one points, not bad at all. Brad Oleson is still and unstoppable scoring machine in the league, and went again to more than twenty points; this time, twenty-two.

Easy one for Unicaja in Murcia. The local team only lasted the first quarter, and the second half was a parade for andalusian team, with Marcus Haislip showing how high he can jump. After the defeat against Olympiakos, it was an important game for Unicaja, but they managed to keep playing very concentrated.

In Badalona, Joventut suffered less than expected to beat CB Granada. The local team played without Mensah-Bonsu, with an injury on his shoulder, but there were Sonseca and Jagla, both of them inside players, who made his job instead. Good first half for Scepanovic and Maric, well stopped in last twenty minutes by the men of Sito Alonso.

Great Gran Canaria, which is still unbeatable at home. Joel Freeland is becoming a force inside the paint, he's every day more and more important, and Carl English, as always, was the scorer behind the arc, with twenty points. Good effort by Menorca, but not enoughto get the win. Though this, their god job will be important in future games, for sure.

Regional derby in Bilbao, between two great teams this season. Newcomer Bruesa couldn't win the game in the last quarter, thanks to twelve points difference which Bilbao got after thirty minutes. It was a game with lots of missed shots, as it was reflected in the fifty-three rebounds that captured the players of Bruesa. Banic, Guardia and Recker were the main players in Bilbao, while "classics" Roe and Marconato played great for Bruesa.
