Panathinaikos owner, Dimitris Giannakopoulos, was critical of the “Greens” performance, despite the win against Darussafaka (75-67).
Although Panathinaikos returned to the winning track and put an end to a three-game losing streak, the club’s owner wasn’t satisfied at all with how the six-time EuroLeague champions played.
“For another time, our display tonight was unacceptable. At this level, it’s not acceptable for someone to not dedicate his 100% to the team. Physically and psychologically. Those who don’t do that, don’t belong to Panathinaikos,” said Giannakopoulos in a statement.
Panathinaikos will face Real Madrid in Spain on Wednesday (19/12) and will welcome Armani Milano on Friday (21/12).
