Neptunas played very well offensively and edged Virtus Bologna at home (88-85) to end the Italians’ undefeated streak.
Even though the visitors had control of the game for three quarters (16-22, 41-47, 62-67), the hosts outscored them 26-18 in the fourth quarter to take the lead and win the game (88-85).
Tomas Delininkaitis was unstoppable for the winners with a game-high 26 points, as Jerai Grant added 18.
Tony Taylor and Amath M’Baye had 20 points apiece for the losing squad.
Neptunas improved to 4-4, whereas Virtus Bologna dropped to 7-1.
In other matches, PAOK beat Venezia at home (77-76) and came closer to the qualification to the knockout stage. The two teams now have identical records (5-3).
