The Italians took control of the game from the opening tip and never looked back (20-27, 39-47). Although the Greeks attempted to cut the deficit (63-70), the visitors stood tall and claimed the victory.
Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Pietro Aradori having 23. On the other hand, Michalis Tsairelis scored a team-high 21 points for the losing squad.
Virtus remained unbeaten in the competition (7-0), whereas Promitheas suffered its second loss in the BCL (5-2). Yet, the hosts are still having the upper hand in the qualification race.
