Valencia edged Partizan on the road (61-69) and secured their ticket to the Top 16 of the 7DAYS EuroCup.

It was all about defence for the Spaniards, who conceded just 25 points in the second half and escaped from Belgrade with a big victory.

The hosts remained competitive for three quarters (18-22, 36-34, 48-52), but couldn’t turn things around in the end and were defeated.

Sam Van Rossom led the winners with a game-high 20 points, as Bojan Dubljevic had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

On the other hand, Vanja Marinkovic had a team-high 15 points for the losing squad, with Jock Landale adding 14.

This was the sixth victory for Valencia (6-2), whereas Partizan suffered their sixth defeat (2-6).

The eighth round of the EuroCup saw Cedevita and Fraport Skyliners also advance to the Top 16.
