Khimki had no problem to defeat Gran Canaria at home (87-72) and put an end to their four-game losing streak in the EuroLeague.

Alexey Shved led the Russians in scoring with 24 points, along with seven assists. Tony Crocker added 17 points and Anthony Gill 15 for the winners.

DJ Strawberry had nine points for the losing squad, as no player of the team scored in double figures.

The hosts exploded in the second and the third quarter and outscored their opponents 52-32 to take a 24-point lead (77-53). The visitors only managed to cut the deficit to 15 at the end of the game, thanks to a 10-19 run of their own (87-72).

This was the first win for Khimki, after four straight losses (1-4), whereas Gran Canaria lost for the fourth time in five games (1-4).
