Andrea Trinchieri seems to be one step away from becoming the new head coach of Partizan.

The Italian coach met with the team’s president, Ostoja Mijailovic, in Belgrade, with the latter taking to Twitter to confirm this meeting.

As a result, Trinchieri is expected to sign a contract with Partizan in the following days and replace former head coach Nenad Canak, who resigned on Friday.

If Trinchieri joins Partizan, he will make his return to coaching action for the first time since February, when he left Brose Bamberg.
